LEPROTL1

[leptin receptor overlapping transcript-like 1] The cDNA for this protein has been cloned by Huang et al, 2001) from a human fetal brain cDNA library. The protein is widely expressed in human tissues and is highly homologous to LEPROT [leptin receptor overlapping transcript]. Together with LEPROT, LEPROTL1 modulates the expression of growth hormone receptors (Touvier et al, 2009).
