J18 peptide

This cancer-targeting peptide with the sequence RSLWSDFYASASRGP has been identified by phage display library screening that targets ovarian cancer cells rather than tumor vasculature (Soendergaard M et al, 2014). The peptide recognizes human ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells and xenografted SKOV3 tumors in mice and suitable modifications allow SPECT/CT imaging in vivo.
