[interleukin-6 receptor] Also: IL6RA [IL6R-alpha; interleukin-6 receptor-alpha]. This symbol stands for the alpha subunit (the ligand binding subunit) of the receptor for IL6. In the nomenclature of CD antigens the receptor has been given the designation CD126.
