IL10b

[interleukin-10b] this term refers to a paralog of carp IL10, a cytokine that downregulates pro-inflammatory activities by carp phagocytes and promotes B-cell proliferation. IL10b has almost the same gene structure and amino acid sequence as carp IL10 - renamed IL10a [interleukin-10a] - and is expressed also in phagocytes.
