HSPA8

[heat shock 70 kDa protein 8; heat shock protein A8]. This abundant and widely expressed heat shock protein is known also as HSC70 [heat shock protein 70; heat shock cognate 70 kDa protein] (Dworniczak and Mirault, 1987) (hence a frequently used term: Hsp/c70 in some publications). Another designation for HSPA8 is HSC71 [heat shock protein 71; heat shock cognate 71 kDa protein], which is most likely the same as the constitutively expressed uncoating ATPase that releases clathrin from coated vesicles (Chappell et al, 1986).
