GP340

[Glycoprotein 340; lung glycoprotein 340] This glycoprotein (340 kDa in the reduced state using SDS-PAGE) has been purified by Holmskov et al (1997) from human bronchioalveolar lung washings from a patient with alveolar proteinosis by virtue of its ability to bind to lung surfactant protein D (SP-D). The protein is being referred to also as Surfactant pulmonary-associated D-binding protein.
