[NCAM FGF receptor activation motif peptide; NCAM FRM peptide] This peptide is derived from the first fibronectin type 3 repeat module of NCAM [neural cell adhesion molecule] (Anderson et al, 2005). FRM peptide is highly conserved between species. In rodents the sequence is SIDRVEPYSSTAQ and corresponds to NCAM(504-516). The sequence from human NCAM is SIDQVEPYSSTAQ.
