FPRL1

[formyl peptide receptor-like-1; FPR-like-1] This receptor is known also as FPRH1 [formyl peptide receptor homolog-1] and has been identified by Bao et al (1992) by virtue of its relatedness with FPR [formyl peptide receptor] (see: fMLP). Fiore et al (1994) have reported that the lipoxin A4 receptor (ALXR, LXA4R) and FPRL1 are identical.

The receptor is related to the fMLP receptor and was identified originally as a low affinity receptor for fMLP (Ye et al, 1992; Murphy et al, 1992; Perez et al, 1992).
