FIL1-eta
[Family of IL1-eta] also: IL1-eta. Another designation is FIL1H. The gene encoding this protein has been cloned by means of its significant sequence similarity to IL1-alpha, IL1-beta, IL1ra, and IL18 (see also: IL1 family). The term IL36-beta [interleukin-36-beta] has been proposed for this term (Dinarello et al, 2010). The approved gene symbol is IL36B.
The gene also maintains a conserved exon-intron arrangement that is shared with other members of the family (Smith et al, 2000). Towne et al (2004) have reported that the receptor for this protein is IL1Rrp2. A common component of the
