This term has multiple meanings:


(-1-) [Fibroblast growth factor-10]

(approved gene symbol) The cDNA encodes a member of the family of fibroblast growth factors (see also: FGF) that was isolated from rat embryos by homology based polymerase chain reaction. FGF10 has a length of 215 amino acids (24 kDa) and appears to be a secreted protein (Tagashira et al, 1997). The human cDNA encoding a protein of 208 amino acids has been cloned by Emoto et al (1997).
