FBR93

The cDNA encoding FBR93 has been identified by Ueno et al (1998). The corresponding gene is localized to human chromosome 5q21-22, which is frequently deleted in advanced lung cancer and may be one of several susceptibility genes related to the progression of lung cancer. Sequence analysis shows that the gene in question is ATG12 [autophagy-related-12].
