DS-1
This B-cell line is derived from an immunodeficient patient with intestinal lymphangiectasia and lymphoma. The cell surface phenotype is PCA-1, HLA Class 2, CD25, CD19, CD20, CD30. The cells do not express CD38.
Cell proliferation is increased in response to human IL6 but not murine IL6. The secretion of IgG into the conditioned medium of cultured cells is not enhanced by rat IL6.
