[DEAD box polypeptide 41; DEAD box protein 41] This human gene is thought to be the ortholog of Drosophila melanogaster abstrakt gene (gene: CG14637) (Irion and Leptin, 1999). The protein belongs to a large family of RNA helicases containing a DEAD box and is being referred to also as DEAD box helicase 41.
