[Cynoglossus semilaevis CC-Chemokine 1] This protein (111 amino acid residues) is a CC-Chemokine from the half-smooth tongue sole (Cynoglossus semilaevis). Phylogenetically it belongs to the CCL19 / CCL21 / CCL25 group of CC-Chemokines. CsCCK1 possesses a DCCL motif that is highly conserved among CC-Chemokines. CsCCK1 is relatively abundant in immune organs under normal physiological conditions and its expression is upregulated in response to bacterial infection. CsCCK1 induces chemotaxis in peripheral blood leukocytes of both tongue sole and turbot (Scophthalmus maximus)
