[ADAM metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif A] this Drosophila melanogaster protein, encoded by gene CG14869, is considered the ortholog of human ADAMTS9 and ADAMTS20, and of C. elegans GON-1.

AdamTS-A is a secreted matrix metalloprotease involved in cell migration during embryogenesis.
