abbr. neutrophil-DC hybrids. This cell type constitutes a population of hybrid cells with phenotypic and functional features of neutrophils and dendritic cells. These cells arise from immature and mature neutrophils purified from mouse bone marrow when cultured with GM-CSF but not with G-CSF, M-CSF or flt-3 ligand.
