a heterotrimeric form of two LT-alpha (TNF-beta) and one LT-beta chains. The LT-beta chain anchors LT-alpha to the cell surface. This complex is the predominant form on the surface of lymphocytes and acts through one of the TNF receptors (p55) (Browning et al, 1995, 1997).
