Also: lactoglobulin-beta(94-100). This peptide is a subfragment of beta-lactalbumin with the sequence VLDTGYK (Val-Leu-Asp-Thr-Gly-Tyr-Lys). It is obtained by proteolytic digestion with trpsin. The peptide is an inhibitor of angiotensin-1 converting enzyme (CD143) (Pihlanto-Leppälä et al, 2000). See also: lactokinins.
