Zfp206
[Zinc finger protein 206] The protein has been renamed Zscan10 [Zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 10]. The human factor is being referred to as ZNF206 [Zinc finger protein 206].
Zfp206 is a zinc finger transcription factor expressed specifically in human and mouse embryonic stem cells (Zhang W et al, 2004, 2006; Brandenberger et al, 2004). The Zfp206 protein contains 14 C2H2 zinc fingers and one SCAN domain near the N-terminus.
