abbr.: TPV-2L. This protein (Tanapoxvirus TNF binding protein) is an TNF binding protein encoded in the genome of Tanapoxvirus (Brunetti et al, 2003; Rahman et al, 2006). TPV-2L forms inhibitory complexes with human TNF-alpha. It also interacts with monkey and canine TNF with high affinity. It binds rabbit TNF with low affinity.
