SLURP1 is a 9 kDa non-glycosylated secreted member (Chimienti F et al, 2003) of the human Ly6/uPAR superfamily encoded by ArsB [ARS component B] (ARS component B-81/s locus), designated LY6LS by Eckl et al (2003).
