[specific granule protein 28] This 28 kDa glycoprotein has been purified from exocytosed material from human neutrophils (Kjeldsen et al, 1996). The cDNA has been cloned from a human bone marrow cDNA library and encodes a protein of 245 amino acids. Cowland and Borregaard (1999) have identified the protein as a neutrophil granule protein. Ernst et al (2002) have reported upregulated expression in prostate carcinoma.
