(approved gene symbol) [receptor activity-modifying protein-1] In databanks the terms CRLR activity-modifying protein 1 [Calcitonin-receptor-like receptor activity-modifying protein 1] are given als alternative designations.

This protein has been identified by McLatchie et al (1998). RAMP1 transcript are found in the uterus, bladder, brain, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract.
