Pvr

[PDGF- and VEGF-receptor related] also: DmVEGFR. This Drosophila melanogaster receptor is encoded by gene CG8222. Pvr is the sole member of the PDGF/VEGF family of receptors in Drosophila melanogaster. It has three ligands, Pvf1 [PDGF/VEGF factor-1], Pvf2 [PDGF/VEGF factor-2] (Harris et al, 2007), and Pvf3 [PDGF/VEGF factor-3] (Cho et al, 2002). Pvr is a receptor tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in a wide range of cellular functions.
