PTP-ZETA

[phosphotyrosine phosphatase zeta] PTP-ZETA cDNA has been cloned by (Krueger and Saito, 1992). The protein is a protein tyrosine phosphatase with a restricted expression in the brain (Levy et al, 1993) that gives rise to at least three alternatively spliced isoforms (Harroch et al, 2000).

The approved gene symbol is PTPRZ1 [protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type zeta-1]. The protein is being referred to also as PTPRZ [protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor-zeta] or PTPZ [protein tyrosine phosphatase-zeta] or RPTPB or RPTP-beta [receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase-beta] or ... ... ... ... ...
