PDWHF

[platelet-derived wound healing formula] A relatively undefined preparation of factors promoting wound healing prepared from platelet Alpha-granules. Topically applied (autologous) PDWHF accelerates wound repair and healing of chronic (non-healing) cutaneous ulcers by stimulating angiogenesis, proliferation of fibroblasts, and collagen synthesis. It also appears to play a role in the healing processes of spinal cord injuries.
