Orcomyotropin
Orcomyotropin (FDAFTTGFamide) has been identified in extracts of hindguts of the crayfish Orconectes limosus using an isolated hindgut contractility bioassay (Dircksen et al, 2000). The peptide shows strong inotropic actions on crayfish hindguts and shows higher potency than Orcokinin and Val13-orkoninin.
