[nuclear receptor interacting factor-3] The approved gene symbol for this protein is ITGB3BP [integrin-beta-3 binding protein]. Shattil et al (1995) who cloned the gene, referred to the protein as beta-3-endonexin, showing that it binds to the cytoplasmic of integrin-beta-3. The cDNA encodes a protein of 111 amino acids. A longer isoform of 170 amino acids that is identical but contains additional 59 amino acids at the C-terminus does not interact with integrin-beta-3.
