[NLR family, pyrin-domain containing 5] This is the approved gene symbol for a protein described as NALP5 [NACHT-LRR-PYD-containing protein-5] (Tschopp et al, 2003). In databanks the protein is being referred to also as PAN11 [PAAD and NACHT-containing protein 11].
