NERP-4
[Neuroendocrine regulatory peptide-4] This bioactive peptide (NAPPEPVPPPRAAPAPTHV) and has been identified as a fragment of neurosecretory protein VGF and corresponds to VGF(489-507) (Sasaki et al, 2010), who initially referred to it as NAPP-19. Rodent and human peptide sequences are identical. The peptide is active on the pituitary and hypothalamus but its biological significance is not known.
