LVYPFP

[Leu-Val-Tyr-Pro-Phe-Pro] This peptide has been found in milk fermented by Bifidobacterium bifidum MF 20/5 (Gonzalez-Gonzalez et al, 2013). The peptide acts as an inhibitor for ACE [angiotensin-converting enzyme; angiotensin-1 converting enzyme]. By sequence it is a shortened derivative, casein-beta(58-63), of casein-beta(58-76)
