[leukemia cell-derived suppressor factor] This biochemically uncharacterized factor of 66 kDa is produced constitutively by HL-60 leukemia cells. It suppresses in vitro proliferation and activation of normal human lymphocytes. LDSF is not cytolytic to lymphocytes and does not affect IL2 or transferrin receptor expression.
