[kallikrein-binding protein] abbr. also: Klkbp. This protein is known also as Serpin A3c [Serine protease inhibitor A3c; serpin peptidase inhibitor clade A member 3c] abbr. also: A3c. In the mouse it is encoded by one of the 14 known paralogs of the human SERPINA3 (human alpha-1-antichymotrypsin) gene. The murine gene has been cloned by Chai et al (1991).
