K60

Chicken K60 (84 amino acids) is a cytokine that is secreted by chicken HD-11 cells (derived from macrophages) upon stimulation with bacterial lipopolysaccharides. K50 is 67 % identical to the previously cloned chicken chemokine 9E3 (CEF-4). K60 is the same as CXCLi1, one of two syntenic genes in chicken (CXCLi2 being considered as the chicken counterpart of IL8), which look equally like orthologs of human CXCL8 (IL8) and are ligands for chicken ... ... ... ... ...
