IL22BP

[IL22 binding protein] IL22BP has been identified independently as CRF2-10 [cytokine receptor family 2 member 10] and CRF2X. The approved gene symbol for this protein is IL22RA2 [interleukin-22 receptor-alpha-2; IL22R-alpha-2].

IL22BP is a soluble antagonist of IL22 and may play a role in the regulation of inflammatory responses (Xu et al, 2001).
