[human neutrophil antigen 1b] This is another designation (Bux et al, 1999, 2002) for an antigen formerly known as NA2 [neutrophil alloantigen 2]. Bux et al (1995) have reported that NA2 and the neutrophil antigen known as NC1 are identical. HNA1b is one of the polymorphic forms of the neutrophil Fc-gamma receptor 3b (CD16b).
