Glycodelin

Glycodelin is identical with PP14 (placental protein 14).

Dell et al (1995) have given the name glycodelin to a protein identified originally as PP14 and referred to subsequently as PAEP [progestagen-associated endometrial protein]. The name was chosen to eliminate confusion over diverse sites of synthesis and to emphasize the unique nature of oligosaccharides in this glycoprotein.

GdA (Glycodelin-A) and GdS (Glycodelin-S) differ in their glycosylation patterns (Morris et al, 1996).
