[G-protein-coupled receptor-73] The human receptors, termed GPR73a [G-protein-coupled receptor-73a] and GPR73b [G-protein-coupled receptor-73b] have been cloned by Lin et al (2002). They are approximately 80 % identical to mouse GPR73 (Parker et al, 2000). GPR73a and GPR73b share approximately 85 % amino acid identity and are most divergent in their N-terminal sequences, with the N-terminus of human GPR73a more closely related to mouse GPR73 than to human GPR73b.
