DIL-1

[differentially expressed in lung cells-1; differentially expressed in cancerous and noncancerous lung cells 1] The cDNA encoding this protein has been identified by Manda et al (1999). DIL-1 is expressed in normal lung tissues but not in lung carcinoma cell lines. Sequence analysis shows that the encoded protein is identical with M-spondin.
