CKLFSF4 is one of eight genes encoding chemokine-like factor superfamily members, which combine features of chemokines and tetraspanins. The protein contains a MARVEL domain. The other factors are CKLFSF1, CKLFSF2, CKLFSF3, CKLFSF5, CKLFSF6, CKLFSF7, CKLFSF8 (Han et al, 2003). Another member of this superfamily is CKLF-1.
The function of this protein is not known.
