CGM6
[CEA gene family member 6] This protein is a member of a protein family related to carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The cDNA has been cloned by Berling et al (1990) who reported that the protein is linked to the membrane by a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol moiety. The CGM6 gene most likely codes for the CEA family member NCA-95. Kuroki et al (1992) have reported that CD67 is equivalent to the NCA species CGM6 and, therefore, corresponds to CD66b.
