CD32

[CD32(+), CD32(-), CD32a(+), CD32a(-), CD32b(+), CD32b(-), CD32c(+), CD32c(-), CD32(high), CD32(low), CD32(dim)]

CD32 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of 40 kDa that exists in multiple isoforms (CD32a (also: FCGR2A, Fc-gamma R2a), CD32b (also: FCGR2B, Fc-gamma R2b), CD32b1, CD32b2, CD32c (also: FCGR2C, Fc-gamma R2c)) and is expressed on almost all cell types of the immune system and also on some epithelial cells (Brooks et al, 1989; Stuart et al, 1989). The human gene encoding CD32 maps to chromosome 1q23-q24 (Sammartino et al, 1988).
