vIL8

[viral IL8] This IL8 homolog of 134 amino acids shares closest homology to mammalian and avian IL8 and is encoded within the genome of Marek's disease virus (MDV) [Marek's disease virus IL8] (Parcells et al, 2001). vIL8 is a chemoattractant for chicken peripheral blood mononuclear cells but not for heterophils.
