An antimicrobial peptide (23 amino acids, GLLRASSVWGRKYYVDLAGCAKA) identified from skin secretions of the diskless odorous frog, Odorrana grahami. Odorranain-HP has similarity to antimicrobial peptide odorranain-W1 but has a different GLLR N-terminus. The peptide shows antimicrobial activities against tested microorganisms and is active also against Helicobacter pylori. For another peptide from the skin of Odorrana grahami see: odorranain-NR.
For other proteins/peptides with functions in innate immunity and/or antimicrobial activities see also: Innate immunity and defense peptides Dictionary.
