Also: beta-casein(169-175). This fragment of bovine beta-casein with the sequence KVLPVPQ (Lys-Val-Leu-Pro-Val-Pro-Gln) has been shown to act as an inhibitor of angiotensin-1 converting enzyme (CD143) and can lower blood pressure in rats (Maeno et al, 1996).
