This short peptide, FALPQY (Phe-Ala-Leu-Pro-Gln-Tyr) is derived from alpha-s2-casein (approved gene symbol: CSN1S2; casein-alpha-s2; Alpha-s2-casein) and has been shown to act as an inhibitor of angiotensin-1 converting enzyme (CD143) (Tauzin et al, 2002).
