Z-33
This Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line secretes IL1-beta, IL6, G-CSF, GM-CSF, TNF-alpha, and TGF-beta. Growth of these cells is not affected by IL1-beta, G-CSF, TNF-alpha, or their corresponding antibodies. Antibodies against GM-CSF suppress Z-33 colony growth in a colony formation assay, while GM-CSF stimulates colony growth in a dose-dependent fashion. The cells express GM-CSF receptors, suggesting the existence of an autocrine proliferative response to GM-CSF.
