[small inducible cytokine A23] The protein belongs to the group of cytokines known as CC-Chemokines. It has been described as MIP-3-beta, MPIF-1, and Ck-beta-8. In databanks it is found also as HMRP-2A [human MIP-related protein 2A]. The approved gene symbol is CCL23. See also: SCY family of cytokines.
