[myosin-containing PDZ domain] This protein has been identified by Furusawa et al (2000) in a screen to identify genes whose expression correlates with the ability of mouse stromal cells to support hematopoiesis. The protein is the same as MAJN and TAIF-1 [TGF-beta-1 induced anti-apoptotic factor-1], and has been identified independently as KIAA0216.
