M-T7

[myxomavirus M-T7] This protein of 37 kDa is the major secreted protein from cells infected with myxomavirus. The protein is referred to also as CBP-1 [Type 1 chemokine binding protein, chemokine binding protein-1]. In newer publications the protein is being referred to as vCKBP-1 [viral chemokine binding protein-1].

M-T7 is encoded by the M-T7 open reading frame of the virus genome. M-T7 is an N-linked glycoprotein that appears to be a stable homotrimer with a molecular mass of approximately 113 kDa in solution.
